Starting of my watery Journey
Hmm, CCA-Canoe... when I started of with CCA-choosing, canoeing was not really one of my top 3 choices... Then how it came to be? It's a talk from Mr Chua which is the coach/teacher for the canoeist team which ask us to try it out. And it turn out that the captain and the whole team is really really great, maybe it's really tiring but they commit into the team so much that I solute each of them with Respect. Joining them let me felt like bonding into a new family( that's what they are) . Frankly, I'm the worst Canoeist among all new candidates, everyone was able to sail out but I'm the only one who kept capsize I think I may have recorded a new record for capsizing for about 30+ times for my first day. I did felt sore but later on the water was just too nice for me not getting into it. During that time some new joiners like me tell me : " I know you'll do better next time. Keep Going Man!". I hope so I thought. But the words did help! I capsize 20+(only) but i did get to row about 2 meters out in a T1 hahahaha! T0day I found out the remaining year 1s are just 5 of us . What a sad thing to the team, and 3 of them are leaving TPjc! But we followed every order and again I capsize! haha! But today I finally got far! (capsizing far is really like swimming sessions). Thanks again team!
A T1 guppy
